Warranty terms – Consumers
These warranty terms apply to consumer purchases where the consumer enters into an agreement with Pahlén AB and supplement the rights that follow from mandatory consumer protection legislation. The warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer. The guarantor is Pahlén AB, Vallentunavägen 401, 194 92 Upplands Väsby, with email address info@pahlen.se.
Extended warranty periods in accordance with these warranty terms apply to the following products:

If a defect occurs within the warranty period, Pahlén AB undertakes, at no cost to the consumer and in accordance with mandatory consumer protection legislation, to:
- repair the product,
- replace the product with a new or equivalent product, or
- refund part of the purchase price corresponding to the defect or cancel the purchase in accordance with what is stated in mandatory consumer protection legislation.
Pahlén AB will repair or replace the product if possible and if it can be done without unreasonable cost to Pahlén AB.
Any action as described above requires that the consumer has reported the defect to Pahlén AB within a reasonable time.
Upon compensation for defects covered by the warranty in accordance with what is stated above, Pahlén AB may be entitled to make a deduction due to age or benefit, depending on the circumstances.
- repair the product,
- replace the product with a new or equivalent product, or
- refund part of the purchase price corresponding to the defect or cancel the purchase in accordance with what is stated in mandatory consumer protection legislation.

The warranty is valid only under the following conditions:
- The product has been installed and used in accordance with Pahlén AB's instructions and guidelines,
- The product has been used for its intended purpose exclusively for private use, to a normal extent and under conditions that meet specified limits for water quality, and
- The buyer has fulfilled their obligations under the purchase agreement.

The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, neglect, abnormal use or any other similar circumstances on the part of the consumer,
- Damage that the consumer has not taken reasonable measures to limit,
- Damage to property primarily intended for business use or other loss in business operations, or
- Damage caused by an obstacle beyond Pahlén AB's control and which Pahlén AB could not reasonably have been expected to foresee at the time of purchase and whose consequences Pahlén AB could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
The limitations above do not affect the consumer's right to compensation under mandatory law.
