Warranty terms
These warranty terms apply to purchases of Pahlén AB products, regardless of whether the purchase is made directly from Pahlén AB or from one of its authorized resellers. These warranty terms supplement the rights arising under mandatory legislation, such as applicable consumer protection regulation. This warranty does not limit or otherwise affect the consumer's statutory rights.The guarantor is Pahlén AB, Vallentunavägen 401, 194 92 Upplands Väsby, Sweden, with email address info@pahlen.se.
1. Products and Warranty Periods
The following products are covered by these warranty terms and the warranty period shall apply from the date of purchase of the product:Product

Material warranty on heat exchangers and compressors
If a defect occurs within the warranty period, Pahlén AB undertakes, at no cost to the customer and, in the case of consumer purchases, in accordance with mandatory consumer protection regulation, to:
- repair the product,
- replace the product with a new or equivalent product, or
- refund part of the purchase price corresponding to the defect or cancel the purchase if the defect is not minor.
Pahlén AB will repair or replace the product if this is possible and can be done without unreasonable cost to Pahlén AB.
Any action as described above requires that the customer has made a claim regarding the defect within a reasonable time to the place of purchase.
Depending on the circumstances, Pahlén AB may be entitled to deduct an age or utility deduction in connection with compensation for defects covered by the warranty.
- repair the product,

- refund part of the purchase price corresponding to the defect or cancel the purchase if the defect is not minor.

The warranty is only valid under the following conditions:
- The product has been installed and used in accordance with Pahlén AB's instructions and guidelines.
- The product has been used for its intended purpose, when purchased by a consumer exclusively for private use, to a normal extent and under conditions that meet specified limits for water quality, and
- The customer has fulfilled their obligations under the purchase agreement.

The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, neglect, abnormal use, or similar circumstances on the part of the customer,
- Damage that the customer has not taken reasonable measures to limit,
- Damage to other property primarily intended for business use or other loss in business operations,
- Damage caused by an obstacle beyond Pahlén AB's control and which Pahlén AB could not reasonably have been expected to have taken into account at the time of purchase and whose consequences Pahlén AB could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, or
- In the case of a purchase made by a company, direct or indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profit, associated installation costs, or losses for the company.
The above limitations do not affect the consumer's right to compensation under mandatory law.
